Footage Proves Why This Dog Is Considered the 'Menace' of Doggy Daycare

Brian Ribeiro is an apocalyptic force! As handsome as he is, he's equally mischievous.The staff at Pet Life Club Dog Daycare in São Paulo, Brazil, can certainly vouch for that. The two-year-old mixed breed is always up to something — and among the group, he’s definitely the most mischievous.

He’s so crafty that his fellow pups, knowing his clever ways, wait for him to come up with a plan to retrieve the ball locked in the game room—then they all join in to play.

The daycare activities had already wrapped up, so the balls were stored in the game room.

Meanwhile, the dogs were resting in a fenced area, but Brian, not content with the end of playtime, decided to take matters into his own paws.

He jumped over the fence and opened the game room door. Yes, using his front paws, he managed to turn the doorknob.

He rummaged around inside, found the ball, and threw it out the window to his buddies.

Meanwhile, his friends — and the caretakers — watched in amazement at the mutt’s cleverness.

His owner, Beatriz Ferreira, is constantly pulling her hair out over his antics. On his report card, under “mischief,” he scored top marks. I wonder why? Haha.

In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news), Beatriz shared that Brian was adopted from an animal shelter and has been attending daycare since he was a puppy, going twice a week. Now it all makes sense — he stands out because he became friends with the daycare staff early on and knows all the tricks of the place.

“He takes part in lots of activities there, and the feedback from the ‘teachers’ is always ‘negative’—just kidding—but they always say he’s a troublemaker, even though he’s super affectionate,” she explained.

Beatriz shares the videos she receives on Brian’s TikTok profile, @catiorobrian. “I love sharing his videos because many kids enjoy them, and I keep these moments with him. He’s like a son to me,” she said.

Regarding the ball incident, his owner said, “The daycare sent me a message saying he was helping his friends by tossing them the balls that staff had put away. At first, I couldn’t believe it, because he’s never done anything like that at home. I was shocked, haha.”

The prank went viral, racking up over 565,000 views, 54,000 reactions, and thousands of hilarious comments.
