Cat Shows Off All Her 'Duties' as Employee of the Month at Pet Shop/Salon — Watch the Video

Mimi is a spoiled little kitty who became the top employee at Comercial Busatto, a pet shop and grooming salon located in Paraná, Brazil. This cutie takes on many roles at the store, including quality control, cashier, customer service, and more!

This princess arrived at Comercial Busatto when she was just four months old. In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news), Duda Busatto shared that the kitten first appeared behind the store, very shy and skittish.

She didn’t get close to anyone and would only come out to eat and sleep. It took three months for her to feel confident enough to accept human contact.

Mimi is not just an exemplary worker — she's also considered the heir to the store.

Gilberto Busatto, the owner, loves her dearly and lets her do whatever she wants — as shown in a video posted on the (@miauzinhothecat) profile on August 13.

In the video, the little cutie is seen performing her daily tasks. First, she gets some pets from Gilberto, then smells the hats on display — after all, she’s part of the quality control team.

Next, she’s seen playing with a shoelace — apparently, she’s also in charge of 'catifying' the footwear.

Oh, and she also restocks the toilet paper — in her own way, of course: by shredding it and spreading it all over the office, haha. On top of that, she works the register… though she mostly plays with the money rather than actually taking payments. And let’s not forget that Mimi is also a 'cat model' — she loves sitting in the shop window, showing off her beauty to everyone passing by.

Customer service is also one of her responsibilities, and I believe it’s her main one, because there isn’t a single person who doesn’t smile when they see her. Stock control? She does that too — always keeping an eye on everything.

Finally, her last task of the day is to rest — because hey, even the hardest workers need a break, right? Her reward? Treats and premium cat food — totally well-deserved!

Duda said Mimi lives at the store, and the back area has been fenced off to keep her safe. Everyone absolutely loves her! “She’s the heart of the pet shop — super playful, always causing mischief, and she even bites everyone,” she joked.
