Golden Retriever Sneaks into School to Look for His Human Sister — Watch the Students’ Reactions
Dom, the Golden, seems to have a gift for winning people over!

Dom is a six-year-old Golden Retriever who loves his human sister, Giovana, deeply. He loves her so much that being apart from her feels like torture. That’s why, when it’s time to pick her up from school, he wastes no time and rushes inside to find his little sister. That’s how much he loves her!
But his mission was interrupted — and not because the principal didn’t allow dogs on campus. On the contrary, he quickly drew a crowd — all eager to shower him with love. Can’t blame them — who wouldn’t want to pet that adorable face? Totally understandable, right?
Being surrounded by so many people doesn’t bother him — according to his Instagram bio, he loves attention and cuddles. And that’s not all — he also loves food and toys. So, if you ever run into Dom, now you know exactly how to win him over.
Everyone at the school welcomed him with open arms — students and teachers gathered around, showering him with affection. What began as a simple visit to see his sister turned into a joyful moment for the students, who got to interact freely with Dom. He sat down right there on the floor, tail wagging and heart full, happily letting everyone pet him to their heart’s content.
Dom’s “aunt” didn’t miss the chance to capture the heartwarming moment, and his dad, André, shared the video on the pup’s TikTok account (@dom_o_goldinho) on August 1 — it has already racked up more than 22,000 views.
In the clip, the kids’ excitement is clear — even the teacher was thrilled to welcome the golden pup. As for Dom, he soaked it all in, absolutely loving every bit of the attention.

Dom, the golden retriever, might have missed the chance to find his sister at school that day, but rest assured — once he got home, he certainly made up for it with plenty of tail wags and face kisses.
The adorable scene of Dom being smothered with love by students and staff quickly went viral. One viewer commented, “Look at Dom’s face — like a little king surrounded by love! He’s living his best life!” Another joked, “Some kids go to school for lunch… he goes for the cuddles.” Another viewer imagined his thoughts: “Excuse me, has anyone seen my sister? Never mind — I’m getting all the love here!”
In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news), Dom’s dad, André, shared more about the heartwarming moment:
“It happened around 7 a.m. during his usual potty walk. He followed my daughter Gi to the school gate just around the block. Dom has a habit of carrying his own leash in his mouth wherever he goes. If we don’t hand it to him, he grabs it himself. That morning, my sister stopped to chat with another parent, and Dom saw Gi enter the school — so he just ran after her,” he said. “That’s when a crowd of kids formed around him, showering him with affection.”
“He’s like this everywhere we go. If he sees someone on the street, he’ll approach them for attention. I take him to the market sometimes, and he waits at the door. He’ll even step in front of people just to get some pets.”
Dom came into André’s life through adoption. André is a dog trainer and was working with Dom at the time. However, Dom’s owner was moving abroad and asked André to find someone responsible to adopt him. Of course, he knew someone — himself.
“When he joined our family, we were going through a tough time. He brought joy, affection, and more love than I’ve ever seen in any dog. He thrives on closeness and will nudge you for pets if you’re at eye level with him.”
Dom gets along with everyone — humans and animals alike. Even if he’s meeting you for the first time, he acts like you’ve been best friends forever. Oh, and if you give him a gift, he’ll treasure it… unless it’s food. Then all bets are off (lol).

If I were there, I’d definitely smush him too!
