Being the older sibling means having endless patience — because younger ones sure know how to stir things up! Just ask Zaira, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, whose little sister Pretinha — a feisty 3-year-old Pinscher — is a master at pushing her buttons. Talk about serenity in the face of chaos!Amused by the way Pretinha kept annoying her sister, Yani Nunes — the pets’ owner — decided to record the scene and share it on her TikTok profile (@yaninunes) on July 2, making internet users laugh.
In the clip, Pretinha is seen casually sitting on Zaira’s head while scratching herself. Meanwhile, Zaira doesn’t seem to mind the younger one’s antics at all. Either she’s used to it… or she secretly enjoys the head massage. No other explanation! Haha.
Yani is a veterinary student who lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news), she shared a bit about the dogs’ personalities and Pretinha’s habit of sitting on Zaira’s head and scratching herself.
According to Yani, Zaira is very playful, obedient, and lets Pretinha do whatever she wants. Zaira also loves water and baths, and she considers any object given to her a toy — which makes it hard to take things away during playtime.
“The moment she sees the sea or a pool, she bolts straight in and dives. I can even walk her without a leash because she’s so obedient.”
As for Pretinha, it’s quite the opposite: she is not obedient at all. She doesn’t like being disturbed during nap time — otherwise, she snaps.
She hates baths, doesn’t care for toys, and when we go for walks, we can’t even think about letting her off the leash — she’d run off without looking back. She’s very independent!
About Pretinha’s habit of sitting on her sister’s head, Yani said:
“Every time she sees Zaira lying down, she rushes to her head. If there’s an Olaf plushie nearby, she hops on him too.”
Curious to see the scene? Over 706,000 people have watched it, with 81,000 reactions and thousands of funny comments.
“And then we just go and kiss the Golden’s head,” joked one user.
“The Golden: ‘Doesn’t matter how — I’m getting petted either way, and that’s what counts!’” imagined another.
“The Golden doesn’t even care anymore,” wrote another, laughing.

They are one of a kind!
Yani concluded the interview by expressing her unconditional love for her pets and shared that she chose to study veterinary medicine because of her passion for animals. She also shared a fun fact:
“Right now, I live with my parents, but I’m getting married next year — and I’m taking all the pets with me, except for Pretinha and Juma [her daughter], because they’re my dad’s sweethearts.”
I’m obsessed with Zaira and Pretinha! And you?
