Some dogs love getting affection—we all know that! TThey have many ways of getting their owner’s attention to receive affection. Some whimper, others come closer, and some lower their ears. But Thor has a very peculiar way of asking for affection—and I bet it’ll make you laugh.

Thor is a caramel-colored mixed-breed dog who lives in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with his owners, Julia Leite and Fernando, and his canine sister, Zara.

He’s a real trickster and knows how to ask for affection like no one else! A video shared by his owner on the pets’ Instagram page @thor_zara.dog on May 17 proves it.

That’s when you’ll burst out laughing! He stares at her with puppy eyes and raises one of his back legs to ask for belly rubs. You’ve got to see it!

In an interview with Amo Meu Pet, Julia said Thor joined the family as a tiny furball at just 45 days old—and since then, he’s shown a deep love for people.

“If anyone talks to him in a baby voice, he gets so happy,” Julia said.

Thor is incredibly friendly and affectionate—so adorable that he easily makes friends with both people and animals.

When he trusts another dog, he even raises his little leg to ask for affection. It’s the cutest thing!

According to his owner, “Thor is perfect—he basically communicates with us through his eyes.”

Because of Thor’s sweet personality, the couple decided to adopt Zara to keep him company and bring even more joy into their home.

“That’s how Zara came into our lives. We found her on Instagram—I saw her photo and instantly fell in love. Less than a week later, she was already home with us,” she recalled.

The family currently has four members, but soon there will be five—Julia is pregnant. And do you think the little duo got jealous? Not at all! I think they love knowing there’s going to be a tiny human in the house.
