Owners Use AI to Enhance Dog Photos—And the Results Are Absolutely Ridiculous

Recently, a new TikTok filter began using AI to enhance photos. The filter uses elements present in the scene to complete the image.

Sounds revolutionary, right? But the results aren't always… satisfactory. That’s exactly why the platform’s new feature is producing so many hilarious images.

The owners of the influencer mutt duo, Bambino and Rogerinho, have already tested the filter. The result left internet users dying of laughter.

The first image is already great: Bambino with fairy wings. But with the filter, it gets even better.

Could artificial intelligence create an enchanted garden to compose the image?

Apparently, in the AI’s opinion, that would be too ordinary… The filter decided to put Bambino in a medieval tower with human legs.

Can you picture it? Be prepared for the result below.

Can artificial intelligence figure out what Bambino’s face looks like?

Wait, who said he had to have a face?

Why not innovate?

In this photo, the duo is lying in the back of the car…

Can you picture the result?

Ladies and gentlemen, Mini Bambino and Mini Rogerinho—pocket-sized edition.

Bambino napping on the couch. I bet you can’t guess how this one turned out. Seriously.

If you guessed Bambino would turn into some kind of fanny pack—congrats.

Many owners jumped on the trend and asked AI to enhance their pets’ pictures. One little Dachshund transformed from pop star to teddy bear.

This dog’s photos were great—but the last one is either the worst or the best, depending on your point of view.

One user made a compilation of several different dog photos. The result? A mutant Chihuahua with three legs, dogs with human feet in flip-flops, and even a tiny pup made of trinkets.

How to try it yourself:

I know you’ve been wanting to do this with your pet’s photos, hahaha. So, let’s make a simplified tutorial.

  • To use the effect, open TikTok;
  • Click the new post button, which is at the bottom of the screen and looks like “[+]”;
  • In the bottom left corner, select the “effects” option;
  • Select the “AI” filter;
  • After you select the filter, some images from your cell phone will appear at the top of the filters tab, in thumbnails;
  • If you prefer, you can select other images by clicking on the “+” symbol in the bottom left corner.
  • When clicking on the chosen image, just wait a few seconds and the photo will be completed by artificial intelligence.

Then tell us how it turned out!
