“Best Class Ever”: Dogs Sit for Lesson Like Perfect Little Students

I’ve never seen a school with better-behaved dogs than Dog School in São Paulo, Brazil!

The dogs at the daycare, run by trainer Mateus Prado, are prime examples of well-behaved, dedicated, and attentive students.

Without a doubt, they are A+!

I doubt any of them failed this year—at least that’s what the video Mateus shared on November 30 suggests.

Well, what teacher would fail such dedicated students?

After all, nine dogs sitting at their respective desks, observing the class attentively, without barking or making a fuss, deserve top marks and lots of treats!

You’re probably wondering how these dogs are so well-behaved—especially in a language that’s foreign to them, right? Yes, they learn their commands in English—keep in mind, this school is located in Brazil.

Curious about the secret, we at Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian pet news website) spoke with Mateus—and the answer lies in training.

“Training calms dogs—it’s a sequence of positive behavior plus a reward (usually treats),” explained Mateus. “They focus on learning in exchange for reward and affection.”

But that’s not all. In addition to training, Dog School offers quality time for dogs, which is why they love the daycare so much and behave well in class. So cute!

“Sometimes the owners work all day and don't have time for the dog. That’s why some don’t come for training, they just come for walks and fun!” he said.

Plus, Mateus has a true passion for working with dogs!

“I started this work when I was 11 years old. My father was already a dog trainer and I am continuing what he taught me to love,” he revealed. “I have a huge affection for each one of them, and it is gratifying to arrive at my clients’ homes and their dogs are waiting for me to go to class.”

Are you curious to see the well-behaved class?

With over 33,000 views and thousands of funny comments, this little group won over internet users.

“I need to enroll my dogs there,” declared one internet user.
“The best students,” praised another.
“Congratulations—beautiful dogs! A better example of behavior than many humans. I loved it,” commented a third.

Uncle Mateus’ students are top notch, aren’t they?

Aurora, a Golden Retriever and student at Cãotainer—also in São Paulo—isn’t exactly a model student, haha.

She may have scored zero in the obstacle course—but she earned millions in laughs!

Her class was filmed and shared on social media—earning over 1.2 million views.

All she had to do was complete the obstacle course—but instead, she made the staff dizzy.

This Aurora is one of a kind!
