Dog Spa: Border Collie Caught Getting the Best Treatment from Calves
If there’s a better life than this, Nero the pup wants no part of it!

Dog spa? We’ve got one—and the treatment is VIP. Nero, a two-year-old Border Collie, can vouch for it—because the professionals there offer top-notch service. And who are these professionals? Two calves. It’s so adorable to see!
Nero lives on a farm in Paraná, Brazil. There, he enjoys the freedom to run and play around the property. And of course, in the midst of all his adventures, Nero knows he can count on a relaxing break.
He runs to the stables in search of free massages from his friends. Smart, huh?
Andressa Loise Speck, his owner’s girlfriend, was thrilled by the sight of Nero getting a massage from the cows, so she filmed the moment and shared it on her TikTok (@andressaloisespeck) on June 2. The video has garnered over 423,000 views.
And that wasn’t the only time it was caught on camera! Nero clearly enjoys the company of cows and calves—he was caught on camera again getting a massage from them.
According to what Andressa told Amo Meu Pet this is because Nero has an extremely docile and affectionate personality. What’s more, he’s “super social with other animals (even when they don’t pay attention to him hahaha).” She also mentioned that Nero especially loves newborn calves.
“He’s a free spirit on the farm—he can run and play as much as he wants. He loves when calves are born—he stays by their side, sniffing and taking care of them. He’s always by our side during walks. He loves stealing food, hahah, and he loves to sing and dance. He also enjoys herding chickens,” she said.
Now you can understand the caption: “Another one in the series: Nero’s Paradise.” This dog knows how to enjoy farm life like no one else. He literally made the place his paradise!
In the video, Nero is seen sitting in front of the stable with two calves. The adorable calves stick their heads through the bars of the gate, where the food bowl is, and begin licking the Border Collie nonstop.
In response, the dog enjoys the moment—raising his head, closing his eyes, and relaxing into the soothing massage.
Andressa says his fur ends up stiff from all the licking. I bet this licking session will last a long time…
“He loves going to the calves to get his licks and ears nibbled on. He goes there at least once a day. He even knows the right time to go—after the calves have nursed. Since they’re still stimulated to suckle, they use him as a substitute, and he makes the most of it,” she explained. “I captured that particular moment when he just melts—he loves it that much, hahaha.”
Andressa, who is very fond of the dog, ends the interview by saying:
“Nero is my boyfriend’s dog. I say Marcelo is his ‘dad’, and I’m the shrew he likes. Nero is one of the most affectionate and loving dogs I’ve ever met,” she said. “I fell in love with him the moment he arrived at the house. I love him dearly—he’s part of the family. It’s impossible not to smile every time he shows up. For me, nowhere feels right without Nero.”
As for Marcelo, Nero’s owner, Andressa says:
“He’s Marcelo’s sidekick 24/7 — more attached than a shadow! Wherever Marcelo goes, he’s right behind. You can really see how close they are. So much love.”
In addition to thousands of views, the heartwarming scene received over 73,000 reactions and hundreds of comments.
