Isadora Becker, a medical student, recently shared the story of her dog, Amorinha, who was sold to her as a “Mini Pinscher.” However, Amorinha surprised everyone with her unexpected growth.

The search for the new family member started when Isadora’s grandmother took her own Pinscher to spend the weekend with them.

Charmed by the dog, the family wanted to have one just like her.

However, Isadora thought it would be a good idea to look for a Mini Pinscher, since her grandmother's dog was a bit bigger.

The search for a dog became a challenge in their region.

Therefore, the solution came from an online ad for a Mini Pinscher in the city of Gravataí, approximately 248 miles from Santo Ângelo, Rio Grande do Sul, where Isadora lives.

The negotiation with the saleswoman happened quickly, with photos and videos sent to ensure the right choice.

Isadora, along with her boyfriend, traveled to Gravataí to meet the little girl.

The payment, oddly enough, could only be made in cash, and the meeting took place at a location different from the seller’s home, as she supposedly “had to deliver other puppies as well.”

However, as soon as Isa picked up Amorinha, she instantly fell in love, mentioning that the little dog even fit in her hand.

However, the surprise came the next day, when the vet found that the age given by the seller did not match reality, indicating that Amorinha was much younger than expected.

It is suspected that the puppy was given away shortly after birth to pass it off as a Pinscher.

Despite the turnaround, Amorinha received all the necessary veterinary care, including vaccinations and special food.

Initially surprised and apprehensive about the little dog’s size, the family soon fell in love with her docile, intelligent and playful personality.

Amorinha developed a strong connection with Isadora’s father, becoming a faithful companion.

Going for a ride in the car is definitely the dog’s favorite activity. Isadora says that she can’t even hear the sound of the keys without getting all excited.

“Sometimes she gets in the car and my dad has to take her for a walk around the block,” she says.

The family also adopted a cat, and Amorinha, adapting to her new brother, started to display some feline behaviors.

Despite the unexpected turn, Isadora emphasizes that Amorinha was, without a doubt, the best choice.

“There was no better mistake than the one we made when buying her,” she jokes.

Despite not being a Mini Pinscher, Amorinha won hearts with her unique personality, showing that, sometimes, the unexpected can bring the best choices.
