Caught on Camera: Stray Dogs “Quality Test” Furniture in Store, Leave Staff Speechless
In an interview, one of the store’s employees said the dogs are known in the neighborhood and love the AC.

Two stray dogs living on the streets invaded the Espaço dos Móveis store in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and turned it into their personal amusement park.
Thauane Grutt, who works there, filmed the moment and shared it on her TikTok profile on October 2, with the caption: “My manager freaked out.”
The manager may have been upset, but the two dogs enjoyed their morning and had fun in the store.
One of them, who looked like a Dachshund mix, took the opportunity to test the mattress.
He jumped on the bed, sat comfortably, received affection from the staff, and refused to leave when Thauane called him down.
The other, a medium-sized dog, played with one of Thauane’s coworkers. The sweet pup jumped on her with joy, and she laughed at the dog’s antics.
The small dog, seeing his friend excited, decided to join the fun—jumping off the bed onto the couch, and back again.
He got so excited that he started jumping on every mattress he saw. Just imagine his fun—and the girls’ desperation trying to stop him from jumping on the furniture!
In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news), Thauane shared that the duo is well-known in the neighborhood and often visit the store to enjoy the air conditioning, especially on hot days.
However, they had never entered the place so boldly before. I guess they took advantage of the manager’s absence!
“They’re strays and live in the area. Store employees give them food, water, medicine, etc.”
The post reached over 220,000 views, 32,000 reactions, and thousands of funny and heartwarming comments.
“Stores that treat dogs with respect and affection automatically earn my business,” one user commented.
“I bet the manager hired these ‘supervisors’ to check if you’re actually working,” joked another.
