Kitten’s Dance Moves to Famous Songs Are Going Viral—and They Just Keep Getting Better

The owners of this cutie, Marifrancy and Waldomiro, who live in Paraná, Brazil, created a TikTok profile for the adorable kitten and his canine sister, Hanna. Thanks to the kitty’s performances, the profile has gained over 97,000 followers. A lot of people love this dancing cat!

Leo, as his friends call him, has no shame in rocking out to all kinds of musical styles. If you don’t know how to dance, you need to meet this guy. Just by watching his videos, you’ll be ready to dance to any beat!

Leonidas’ Adoption

Waldomiro shared in an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news) that the feline joined the family to keep Hanna company. The couple felt the dog was lonely and needed a companion to interact with.

It took about two months for them to bond, but today they’re best friends.

The cat was adopted through a pet adoption group on Facebook. When Waldomiro saw the cat’s photo, he thought the kitten looked just like Hanna, and together with his wife, they decided to adopt him.

“When we adopted him, he was a bit injured, had mange, and was covered in fleas. But with a lot of care, love, and affection, he became this adorable little guy who’s now winning hearts everywhere,” he said.

Leonidas brought a lot of joy to the family, especially to Hanna, but sadly, she passed away. She was an albino and highly allergic. A bee sting caused a severe allergic reaction. She spent about a week at a veterinary hospital but didn’t make it.

The Beginning of the Cat’s Artistic Career

Leonidas is a very calm and affectionate cat, always staying close to his owners for attention. Because of his playful nature, it’s easy to get him to dance.

He’s quite the dancer, but he does need a little help from his owners—haha!

“At first, we just wanted to make some fun videos showing his routine. But then one of the dance videos went viral, so we decided to stick with that style,” he revealed.

Leonidas doesn’t have a specific music preference, but he enjoys upbeat songs that are trending on TikTok. That’s why his owners pick energetic songs to get the handsome guy moving—just the way his followers like it!

“I adapt the moves for him in a way that’s easy to follow and, most importantly, comfortable—his well-being always comes first,” he said.

The Fame

At first, the owners simply wanted to share videos of their pet’s daily life—not to go viral, but to make people smile with Leonidas’s funny antics.

“We never expected such rapid growth, but it happened fast. Since we went viral and have been able to spread some joy and smiles thanks to Leonidas’s charm, we don’t plan on stopping anytime soon,” he concluded.
