Dog Begs “Dad” for Mercy After “Mom” Finds Out What She Did; Video
In an interview, the owner revealed whether the dog prefers her belongings and who usually defends her.

Tequila is a very sweet mixed-breed dog who recently pulled off another one of her well-known antics. This time, trying to avoid being scolded, she pleaded for her dad’s help when her mom discovered the mischief.
In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news), the owner shared whether the dog prefers her things and who usually defends her.
Barbara Storck, Tequila’s human, shared a hilarious video on her Instagram with the caption, “I wonder why Dad is her favorite around here, hmm?” The post drew laughter from internet users and showed that the dog had chewed part of her soap dish.
In the video, Tequila’s dad, Jean Oliveira, even tries to be firm, like her mom, but can’t resist her cuteness. He hugs the dog and talks to her, giving her advice.
“Were you bored, baby? You didn’t have anything to do at home, right? But you won’t do this again, will you? Come here! This was the last time, wasn’t it?” he said, defending the dog.
In an interview with Amo Meu Pet, Barbara said that, in reality, Tequila is a little rascal. At almost seven years old, she is a good girl most of the time. However, she does have a naughty side, like any good old dog.
“She is a sweetheart. A very good girl! She does get into mischief, but it’s rare,” the owner said.
Barbara shared a few of Tequila’s antics, pointing out that the pup seems to have a special fondness for her belongings.
“She’s crazy about her dad and rarely touches his things, haha. Besides the soap dish, she’s chewed on my earrings, my teeth-whitening gel, and the flash drive with our wedding videos.”
But what’s striking is that Tequila shows some self-control when it comes to her mischief. Barbara reveals that the pup has a clever strategy for avoiding scoldings:
“The thing we argue about the most is her eating food we leave on the counter. I defend her more than he does — believe it or not! But she’s clever! When I scold her, she runs to her dad. When he scolds her, she runs to me.”
Despite defending her, Tequila’s dad didn’t escape her mischief either. Tequila’s list of devoured objects includes a cigar and a bracelet.
“She got into more trouble when she was a puppy. She doesn’t have any siblings — animal or human. She’s the boss of the house! We love her so much it hurts,” Barbara concludes.
