Caramel-Colored Mixed-Breed Dog Gets “Revenge” After Being Left Alone at Home; Video

In her owner's absence, this little mixed-breed dog named Minnie decided to get revenge. What did she do? She destroyed the couch, cushions, and pillows — everything in sight. She gave it all her own “custom touch,” haha.

The dog lives with her owner, Cristiane Alves, in São Paulo, Brazil. Cristiane works the night shift and only comes home in the morning.

However, Minnie was never really alone — she had the company of Cristiane’s son and another dog named Melissa.

But in August, Cristiane’s son moved out — and took Melissa with him — leaving Minnie completely alone when she went to work.

To avoid making the little dog sad with the new routine, Cristiane left the lights on and gave Minnie access to the entire house.

And on one of those occasions, this cutie made a huge mess!

In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news), Cristiane said that when she got home at 8:30 a.m., “I almost fainted. The pillow she used to lie on was ripped, my new couch was filthy and covered in vomit — it was a disaster. And she was just so happy with her masterpiece!”

“I couldn’t even scold her because, after all, the poor thing had been alone all night with nothing to do. So I guess destroying mom’s house seemed like a great idea,” she said.

After the mess, something very good happened: Melissa, the other dog, came back to live with Minnie.

Now she’s no longer alone — and she can’t destroy anything else either, because she no longer has the excuse of loneliness, haha. The two of them live like princesses!

“They sleep with me, follow me on daily walks and car rides, go to the beach — and if they can’t come, I just don’t go,” she declared.

Their Adoption Story

Minnie was adopted at an adoption fair in October 2021. She was just 45 days old, covered in fleas and worms — but with love, she was completely transformed.

Melissa is the older one; she is four years old and was also adopted. She arrived in the same condition as Minnie — covered in fleas and worms — and it was no different for her. With love and affection, she became a beautiful dog.

The Video

The mess was caught on video, and Minnie didn’t seem sorry at all for what she did. On the contrary, she ran to her owner with joy, proudly walking through her mess.

Another Dog Who Made a Mess
