Have you ever seen a Husky and Golden mix? No? Then prepare yourself to meet Nero — he’s absolutely stunning! Because of this mix, the dog’s hybrid breed is popularly known as a Goberian.

The dog belongs to Amaro Leonardo Bezerra Pereira, who lives in Pernambuco, Brazil. In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian website about pet news), Amaro said that Nero’s father is a Golden Retriever and his mother is a Siberian Husky.

Both the Golden Retriever and the Husky belong to his sister-in-law. According to Amaro, the two mated accidentally, and the puppies were given to friends and family. Amaro kept Nero, who became a loyal companion and friend.

“Nero is like a son to me — I love him like he’s family,” he declared.

Nero is very well-behaved, loves to play with children, lives indoors, and is no trouble at all, according to Amaro:

“He has a daily routine for doing his business. He comes up to me or my mother, places his paw on our leg, and looks at us. I can tell when he wants to go for a walk and do his business outside the house. He never goes inside the house and takes two walks a day.”

This handsome guy is not only well-mannered, but also incredibly charming, with a golden and white coat and heterochromatic eyes. It's impossible not to fall in love with him! As expected, Nero inherited traits from both of his parents.

Golden Retriever

The Golden Retriever, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC), is a breed known for its friendly and affectionate personality. They are intelligent, loyal, and extremely affectionate, which makes them excellent companions for families with children.

Their gentle nature makes them ideal as therapy and assistance dogs, as they have an incredible ability to connect emotionally with their owners.

Additionally, Golden Retrievers are highly intelligent and easy to train, excelling at obedience and learning commands. They are also very active and love to play, making them ideal for active families looking for an energetic outdoor companion.

Siberian Husky

The Siberian Husky, according to the AKC, is a fascinating breed with unique characteristics and personality. Physically, they are medium to large-sized dogs with a dense and lush coat, often in colors ranging from black to white, including various combinations.

They are known for their piercing and expressive blue eyes, which are one of their trademarks.

Personality-wise, Huskies are known for their independence and stubbornness, which can make training challenging for inexperienced owners. They are very energetic dogs and love outdoor activities, such as running and long walks.

They are extremely social and often enjoy the company of other dogs. However, they can be reserved around strangers.

Goberian

According to Dog Time, the Goberian inherits notable characteristics from both breeds. Physically, they usually have dense, soft fur, often ranging in color from gold to white, while maintaining expressive eyes, which can be of different colors — a characteristic of the mix.

Personality-wise, Goberians tend to be friendly, intelligent, and loyal. They are energetic dogs that enjoy the outdoors and are known for their eagerness to please their owners.

They are generally sociable and enjoy the company of people and other dogs, making them great pets for active families.

However, their high energy levels make training essential to maintain balanced behavior.
