Watch This Husky’s Hilarious Attempt at Being a Guard Dog
By Gabriele Tancredo Stella in Dogs
Snow Flakes is a Siberian Husky deeply loved by his owners, Gabrielly Garcia Morais and Anderson Morais, who live in São Paulo, Brazil. He’s so adored that he’s become quite spoiled. So don’t count on him to guard your home—he’d probably let burglars in and even make friends with them.
His owner even tried to find out what he would do if a burglar broke into the house, but his response—or rather, his bark—wasn’t very convincing. Yeah… I think the burglar would throw a party at the house, and Snow would definitely join in.
The hilarious video of this candid exchange was shared on the Instagram profile @snow_flakeswolf, which is dedicated to sharing the pet’s daily life, on April 23.
Fun fact: check out the bio of this handsome guy — “I’m that dangerous dog who reacts to thieves with a ‘woof’.” Yeah, right!
In the video, Gabrielly is seen sitting on the floor next to Snow, whose head is resting on her leg.
Curious, she asks: “What if a thief broke in here—how would you react?” And now comes the funny part!

The pet, unfazed, responds to the serious question with a bark—or rather, a simple “woof.”
In other words, he won’t do anything at all. It’s up to his human to improve home security with the right equipment.
If it were up to Snow, the thief could take everything except, perhaps, his bag of food.
In an interview with Amo Meu Pet (our Brazilian pet news website), Gabrielly said that the family considers Snow a prodigy because he’s so intelligent and obedient. He was a bit of a handful as a puppy, but by four months old, he already knew his duties, like relieving himself in the right place and not destroying objects.
“Always very cheerful and talkative, he doesn’t bark much, but he loves to howl; it’s his gift. He loves people, especially children,” she said.
Regarding the video, Gabrielly says it wasn’t planned at all. One holiday morning, she and her husband woke up, called Snow into bed, and started chatting. Noticing the funny interaction, they decided to record it. That’s when the scene of him reacting to the “robbers” happened.
“We never imagined the impact the video would have—with thousands of views, shares, and comments,” she revealed. “At first, we were scared, but we ended up getting into the vibe of things and started sharing videos and photos of this ‘dangewous’ dog more frequently.”
Gabrielly concludes the interview by saying: “Snow is a reflection of love, affection, and companionship for me. There’s no reason I can’t say he’s part of my family.”
The video, captioned “Beware: Angry Dog,” has accumulated over 5 million views, 545,000 reactions, and thousands of funny comments.
“Which translates to ‘I won’t’,” joked one internet user.
“Respect me because I’m dangewous,” commented another.
“Unsure, he goes: ‘Woof??’” wrote another, laughing.

Are Siberian Huskies Good Guard Dogs?
According to expert dog trainer Aaron Rice, Siberian Huskies aren’t known for being good guard dogs. They’re best known for their friendly, sociable, and energetic nature.
Huskies tend to be friendly with strangers and are not naturally aggressive. They were originally bred to pull sleds and work in teams, which influenced their friendly and cooperative behavior.
However, each dog is unique and may exhibit different individual characteristics, so it’s important to consider the specific socialization, training, and temperament of each Siberian Husky. If you’re looking for a guard dog, there are other breeds better suited for this purpose.
